Thanks to the generosity of dozens of Cannoli fans, who donated thousands of great items to the sale, the third annual Clutter for Cannoli Yard Sale raised more than $2,575 to help improve the lives of cats and dogs living in the Lavaca and King William neighborhoods.
Held on Saturday, March 23, the yard sale featured a wide variety of merchandise from clothing to furniture to a parrot cage! The collectible 2012 and 2013 cat and dog The Cannoli Fund Fiesta San Antonio medals were for sale. Many shoppers also donated funds by adding money to the bowl set aside for contributions at the checkout table.
Cannoli fans and The Cannoli Fund board members volunteered with the many pre- and post-sale tasks, as well as during the day. 2013 Dog Medal model, Bruno, a rescue dog and resident of Lavaca, was also on hand to greet customers.
All proceeds are used to fund the many animal welfare projects of The Cannoli Fund.
