Tar-Zhay the feral cat enjoys a meal after being fixed, receiving vaccinations, and receiving medical care provided by The Cannoli Fund.

La Cocina de Cannoli, or Cannoli’s Kitchen, provides pet food to King William and Lavaca residents in need. The Cannoli Fund understands the financial commitment that comes with feeding a companion cat or dog or a feral cat colony.

Most of this assistance goes to compassionate neighbors who have taken on the responsibility of feeding and caring for a feral cat colony. We provide pet food to those caring for spayed or neutered animals only. For help with spaying or neutering feral cats, visit the Spay/Neuter Reimbursement Program and the Community Cat Carpool pages. We will also pay for some vaccinations and additional services. Information about spay/neuter of dogs and cats, including any city grants, is also on our Spay/Neuter Reimbursement Program page.

This program exists primarily on contributions from our community and from our donors. La Cocina de Cannoli is intended to supplement a residents’ supplies of food, not be the sole source of food for the animals in their care.

If you, or a neighbor in our service area, would like to participate in the La Cocina de Cannoli program, please email The Cannoli Fund through our contact page.
